Eudossia

Eudossia è una panchina per distretti commerciali ispirata alla forma di un telaio a pettine liccio, strumento alla base dello sviluppo dell'industria tessile a partire dal XII secolo, prima a Milano e poi in tutto il Nord Italia. La storia del commercio è uno di quei legami trasversali che uniscono le caratteristiche proprie di un territorio con i modi e le abitudini, la creatività e l'ingegno con cui questo ambiente viene abitato e vissuto. Eudossia rappresenta un telaio che tesse la sua tela (e viceversa) E' anche la più caotica delle città invisibili di Italo Calvino, alla ricerca di un ordine divino nel suo caos di umanità (e viceversa) Eudossia è stata presentata alla Milano Design Week 2013 come uno dei progetti vincitori del concorso "decò ter - design e competitività per il terziario"

Eudossia is a bech for commercial districts inspired by the shape of a rigid heddle loom, device on which was based the development of the textile industry in the twelfth century, first in Milan and then in northern Italy. The history of commerce is one of those cross links connecting the peculiar features of an area with the ways and habits, creativity and ingenuity with which its enviroment is lived and experienced. Eudossia represent a loom weaving its cloth (or viceversa) It's also the most chaotic of Italo Calvino's "invisible cities", in search of a divine order in its chaos of humanity (or viceversa) Eudossia was presented at the Milan Design Week 2013 as one of the winner project of the competition "decò ter - design and competitiveness for the service sector"
